Leopard Bow Blouse

I love leopard. I love a lot of things but I have to constrain myself when it comes to leopard otherwise I’d probably end up with an entirely leopard wardrobe. I have a pair of leopard shoes–heels. They’re Sam Edelman. I was looking at a hot pink suit for my upcoming conference but I needed a leopard top to pair with it all. Originally I was going with this Alice + Olivia blouse that Cookie Lyon wore on Empire even though the only leopard thing about it was the bow . But it was overpriced at $325 at Harvey Nichols and I wasn’t trying to break my bank for a single blouse.

So I searched and stumbled up this gorge J. Crew leopard blouse. It had the bow I was after and was marked down 50% from $64 to $32 and on top of that I got an additional 15% off for signing up to their mailing list–temporarily. I paired the blouse below with a light pink suit. What do you think?

Do you love leopard? I only ask because sometimes I think it’s just me. Leave me a comment. I really want to know.

The Weekly Shoe Giveaway is BACK!

I’m not sure how many of you were connected to me when I hosted The Weekly Shoe Giveaway from 2013-2015 or thereabout. If you were–drop me a heart or a “shoe”. But for those who weren’t, I hosted a giveaway on my blog where I’d partner with various brands like Nina Shoes, Fergie Footwear, Chinese Laundry, Sole Society, Butter Shoes and other major brands to offer the shoe lovers on my platform shoes!

Soooo, as you probably already guessed–I decided to revive The Weekly Shoe Giveaway! (insert cheers here) Why? Because I had so much fun doing it–the winners LOVED it and I realize I’m more influential that I really thought (plus I have much more free time on my hands).

Seriously though, The Weekly Shoe Giveaway gives the brand TREMENDOUS exposure, but not only that–it’s a very affordable way to get their name and products in front of more people.

And just a sidenote: You do not have to be a shoe brand to host a shoe giveaway. You can be a blogger, author, musician, entrepreneur who simply wants to drive more traffic and create a buzz by giving away a shoe.

Tell me what you think! To Partner navigate to Email Me and send me a message. Sign up to be notified of blog posts and first giveaway–sign up for notifications here.

Tamron: Hall Best Dressed Talk Show Host

I’ve always loved Tamron hall for there crime tv features and her undercover reporting. Those are just some of the types of shows I like. Forensics. Detective. But when her talk show debuted I figured it would follow suit with what she was known for. It didn’t, but I stayed for the fashion and boy did she bring it!

You know I LOVE a good leopard print. This Anna Mason outfit is killer (no pun intended). The flow of the blouse is gorge and it invites you to pair it with other non-leopard pieces. The blouse alone is a necessity for any wardrobe.

So go ahead–Grab the puff sleeve blouse here and the wide leg pants here.

I fell in total love and adoration with this Dolce & Gabanna blouse. It’s colorful without being clownish and bold without being too muted by the black. This is a total winner and it needs to be on my birthday gift list!

So okay, here are the deets. Grab it and whatever you do–wear it flawlessly.

I’ve never heard of Sachin & Babi but I’m totally down for a metallic knit dress. Unfortunately this dress isn’t available except for “rent” via Rent the Runway. I’d definitely wear it and return it for a special occasion–would you? Those shoulder puffs are ev-ery-thing! Cute boots too!

Check it out and get all the deets and/or Rent it here.

I’ll be back with more cuteness later.

I Love Pink + Other Colors

I love pink. I was searching for a biker jacket online and came across this bight pink crop biker jacket by Manokhi. Love! Love! Love! What would I pair this with? Hmm. Ripped jeans are an obvi choice–maybe a body con dress with hot pink studded Converse? That’s what makes fashion so unique–choices.

This jacket is almost SOLD OUT–grab the last one here.

Turquoise buttery leather gloves Manokhi. These are enough to make you swoon. Or like me, I normally create an occasion to wear something I want to wear if I don’t have anything planned. But I’m a true glove lover. Wearing gloves is so lady-like (especially long gloves) and I feel like it’s the missing component in fashion nowadays.

Grab a pair (I’m sure it’s available in other colors too) here.

I’ve never been an orange person. I don’t think I’ve ever owned anything in this shade ever–but the buckle detail on this Manokhi leather skirt is amazeballs. I mean, seriously, if I were a little younger, and thinner, and taller, and–who am I kidding, it’s cute and I would find something to wear it with in heartbeat even if it was a white cut off tee and black ankle boots.

You can snag one here (available in other colors too).
